Come one, come all! It is census time in the town of Bethlehem!
As we prepare for Christmas, St James Parish invites you to come and walk through the Town of Bethlehem. Meet the Holy Family in this live replica of the Christmas Nativity, set in the town of Bethlehem, and including Roman soldiers, Bethlehem townspeople, choirs, live animals, and many pilgrims just like you, coming to complete the census. Warm your hands by the open fire, sing Christmas carols along with the choir, and relive the events of Jesus’ birth.
The Living Nativity will take place on Saturday December 14, 2019 from 4 to 8 pm, outdoors in the field next to the St. James Church parking lot (338060 32 St. East, Okotoks). Admission is free. Donations will be gratefully accepted and given to local charities.
After strolling through Bethlehem, join us for food and refreshments, available for purchase, in the church hall. We hope to see you there!
