Time: 10am – 2pm
Where: Chain Lakes Provincial Park: Highway 22 & Highway 533

Join the Okotoks and District Fish and Game Association (ODFGA) for Family Day Ice Fishing with Kids Can Catch at Chain Lakes Reservoir. This all-ages event is open to the public to come out and try their hand at ice fishing. Bring your own fishing rods if you have one! We have some to borrow. Out on the reservoir you will find pre-drilled holes, fishing mentors, and more!

Bring a lawn chair, food, and drinks; and dress warmly! No experience or equipment is required but you can bring any ice fishing gear you already own. Ice fishing rods, tackle, and bait will be available for you to borrow. Stroller, wagon, and wheelchair access is not available due to snow on the lake. Free hot chocolate and $1 hot dogs are available while supplies last.

This event is free of charge but registration is required at https://www.ab-conservation.com/events/kids-can-catch/okotoks/
