Friday, May 3, 2019 at 6:30PM

The Okotoks Art Gallery

Join us at the Okotoks Art Gallery for a curatorial tour of To What Degree? Canada in a Changing Climate. Created in partnership with the Government of Canada and Canadian Geographic, this exhibition tells stories of people and ecosystems throughout Canada adapting in unique ways to our changing climate. Following an informative tour, we will walk to the Rotary Performing Arts Centre for a screening of Before the Flood. Presented by National Geographic, this documentary features Leonardo DiCaprio on a journey as United Nations Messenger of Peace, traveling to five continents and the Arctic to witness climate change first hand. Before the Flood presents a riveting account of the dramatic changes now occurring around the world due to climate change, as well as the actions we as individuals and as a society can take to prevent the disruption of life on our planet.
