Healthy Aging Alberta will be in Okotoks on May 29 . Each gathering will provide opportunities for those who serve older adults and older adults themselves to connect, learn from, and inspire others in their area. Speakers will address areas of regional and provincial interest on topics such as diversity, equity and inclusion, caregiver care, community development, and more. In addition to informal networking opportunities, there will be focused time to learn from and interact with local initiatives that are responding to the needs of their communities through home supports, transportation, social prescribing models and men’s sheds.
