Once again our family will be hosting a used book sale in our driveway across from Big Rock School. The first time we did this was back in 2013 raising money for backpacks and school supplies for children in Kenya. Then in 2015 our contact in Kenya created the Innocent Children Foundation so that we could sponsor a group of children and pay for their education. 4 of the children have graduated from High School and have moved onto higher education. 5 will graduate at the end of this year and 5 will remain. Our goal this book sale is to raise enough money to create a fund for the remaining five, to see them through until the end of high school. This will be our last book sale as our children move onto the next chapter of their lives. I hope you will join us in celebration of our 10th Sale, find some books, eat some treats and you might even run into people you know as this has become a great community gathering event. The sale is being held on May 18, 2024 from 9am to 2pm (maybe a bit later)
