Tricia Edwards:
Tricia is a freelance pianist based in Calgary, who earned both Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in classical piano performance from the University of Alberta, with summer studies at the Banff Centre and Mozarteum in Salzburg, Austria. During this time she was a national finalist in the Canadian Music Competition and performed with the University of Alberta Symphony Orchestra and the Vienna Sinfonietta.
Her most recent release, “Sunlight”, a solo piano project comprised of original compositions and original arrangements of favourite melodies, was a pandemic project that drew on her classical training and experience as well as more recent experimentation in the world of jazz and latin music.

Raul Gomez Tabera, percussion:
A native of Matanzas, Cuba, Raul is a percussionist and drummer now based out of Calgary, Alberta. In Cuba, he began his artistic career at the age of 8 years old playing in various companies and groups as well as completing his classical music training at the National Art Schools of Cuba. He performed with the Matanzas Symphony Orchestra and worked as a professor in the Matanzas School of Music since 1995. As well, he played with famous Tropicana Cabaret Orchestra and was the head adjudicator of all percussion for the Province of Matanzas. He was very successful with the orchestra in International Festivals of Ballet, of Guitar and worldwide premières of works such as Los Salmos de las Americas of Jose Maria Vitier, Nominated for Latin Grammy Award for best album of classical music in 2000, El Ballet Tula, and recordings for bands featured in Cuban films such as Lista de Espera among others. Furthermore, Raul toured with the orchestra to Spain and Austria with the interpretation of “Porgy and Bess” with the Lirico National, highly acclaimed performances in some of the best opera theaters in the world. In 2001 He has toured and performed extensively all around the world including Spain, Korea, Mexico, Austria, France, Italy, Nicaragua and Canada.
