Aging in Place, a mini conference

Wednesday, Apr 17, 2024 at 8:30AM

Foothills Centennial Center Okotoks

Helping seniors understand the ins and outs of aging in place as many of us are moving towards the difficult decision on where we should live. People are hoping to stay in their homes for as long as possible if not until the end of their lives. What do you need to know, where you can get support. Specialists in the area of aging in place will be presenting to participants and the hope is that they will leave feeling that they have some direction to aid them in staying in their own homes for as long as possible. AHS will also be presenting a session at the end of the day.

The local branch of the Alberta Retired Teachers Association has put this together for not only their members but also members of the public. Pre registration is appreciated to loucksmj@gmail.com. Cost is $15 for FRTA members nd $20 for public....such a deal for all the great information people will be receiving.

Thank you,

Joyce Loucks
