4-Week Series ~ Monday Evening Classes

Apr 22 – May 13 | 7:00 – 8:15pm
Each class: $15 drop-in fee
Free for supporting members

Buddhist teachings explain that our suffering comes about due to uncontrolled and painful states of mind known as delusions.

Each week we will focus on how to deal with a particular delusion, among them – desirous attachment, anger/resentment, jealousy, miserliness, distraction, low self- esteem … Learning practical methods to reduce the power of these delusions will allow us to experience a deep and satisfying emotional freedom, and give us skill to be the person we wish to be – positive, joyful, confident and loving. We will learn how to identify each delusion, and learn the opponent to each.

Everyone is welcome to one class or the entire series. You don’t have to be a Buddhist or have any experience. Each week includes Guided meditation, a talk, discussion & questions.

Akshobya Kadampa Buddhist Center is a not-for-profit organization, 100% run and operated by volunteers.

In these classes, Buddhist nun and teacher Kelsang Khacho will introduce a Buddhist approach to the transformation of pain and guide us through healing meditations that will empower us to feel confident and free, ready to face whatever challenges may come.
