In the Spirit of Christmas Concert

Nanton will be getting In the Spirit of Christmas with its annual Christmas Concert is set for Dec. 9, with a stellar musical line-up planned.
The concert is a highly-anticipated event in the community and has been a tradition in the area for more than 20 years, with an ever-changing roster of musicians performing.
All performers at the annual Christmas event have connections to the Nanton-Stavely area – either are living in the area, or did live in the area, which makes the evening a community event where friends and family can get together for an evening of music, and help raise funds for the Nanton Ministerial Foodbank.
This year’s line-up includes the Alien Rebels who will be bringing their rockabilly sound to get everyone kick-started into the holiday season, Bucking Horse Moon Band, Lindberg Express, Charlie Ewing and Lonni Robley, Pam Woodall, the Broomfield Family, Terry Morrison and John Gorham, and the Living Stones.
All the proceeds from the event go to the Nanton foodbank, and all performers are donating their time and talents for the event.
Admission is $10 per adult or $20 per family. The event is also collecting non-perishable food items and cash for the Foodbank.
Organizers will be asking for proof of double vaccination for COVID at the door. Obtain your government issued QR code here: https://covidrecords.alberta.ca/home and bring the image on your cell phone or print a paper copy.
